What are your contributions to the team?
  • Perform sales tax reporting.
  • Perform federal and state tax reporting and property renditions.
  • Assist with information systems updates and running jobs.
  • Assist with developing budgets and forecasts and analyzing variances.
  • Perform basic to moderate account analysis, for example, sales tax, fixed assets, and lease related accounts.
  • Assist in the coordination and completion of internal and external audits of the Company.
  • Assist with collecting documentation to internal/external audits.
  • Perform fixed asset reporting including acquisitions, disposals, and depreciation.
  • Analyze, reconcile, and prepare elements of balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other formal financial reports on a scheduled basis.
  • Assist with preparation of monthly financials.
  • Prepare and post journal entries, for example inter-company, fixed assets, and IT costs.
  • Perform & coordinate invoicing and billing process for intercompany customers and vendors.
How to thrive in this role?
  • You have a Bachelors in Accounting, Finance, or closely-related field.
  • You have a minimum of 4 years accounting or financial analyst experience
  • You have good interpersonal skills necessary to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, other business areas, and governmental agencies
  • You have advanced oral and written communication skills
  • You have good planning and organizational skills necessary to coordinate workload around multiple assignments.
  • You have an ability to manage stress and work under tight deadlines
  • You have the computer skills necessary to operate word processing, spreadsheet, database, email, and internet-based applications and accounting systems. Knowledge of SAP is an asset.
  • You have analytical and judgment skills necessary to evaluate, interpret, and reconcile accounting data according to company and departmental procedures. You have a systemic approach to problem solving.
  • You have basic knowledge of U.S. General Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP), and/or International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
