Position Title: Senior Project Manager

Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, 40 Hours/ Week

Summary of Duties: Direct all phases of projects from inception through completion. Responsible for the cost, schedule, quality, and technical performance of the assigned project(s). Establish milestones and monitor adherence to master plans and schedules. Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion. Provide regular updates to team, management, and Project Management Office (PMO) on work performed, plans, budget, and overall status. Identify project problems and obtain solutions, such as allocations of resources or changing contractual specifications. Manage customer expectations across project cycle and lead single and multi-product medium voltage solutions projects. Direct Diagnostics with the ability to determine root cause and corrective actions.

Qualifications: The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered, or as an Order Manager, Project Manager, Process Improvement Engineer, System & Project Engineer, Sales Engineer, or a related occupation. The position requires three (3) years of experience with the following skills: Experience in identifying and implementing cost savings measures within projects; Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams, including program management, services, engineering, operations, and logistics; Experience developing, driving, and managing projects in a highly competitive market; Experience presenting complex issues to multilevel audiences and effectively communicating progress, status, and issues to Customers; Experience interpreting and reporting results to Senior Management and Customers; and Experience identifying and managing project risks. Also requires Siemens Project Management Certificate or an equivalent certification on the PMI (Project Management Index). Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience, and training deemed equivalent to a U.S. Bachelor’s degree by a reputable evaluation service.
