We have an outstanding Contract to Hire position for a Systems Engineer to join a leading Company located in theWashington, DCsurrounding area.

Candidate must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust.

Job Responsibilities:

• Support SBS ADS-B BSFS Team with programmatic and acquisition requests

• Coordinate with task leads to define scope, collect data

• Support the development of FAA project WBS and program schedule

• Support milestone and business plan goal development and reporting

• Conduct schedule reviews and develop and update required reports to management

• Support the development of JRC documents and briefings

• Establish performance measures for post-implementation assessments

• Conduct benefit-risk assessment and develop risk-adjusted benefits baseline

  Basic Hiring Criteria:

• At least 5 years of related experience with a bachelor's in an engineering discipline is required. A Master's degree in any field ( e.g MS , MA, MBA) counts for three years of additional experience, and a PhD counts for three years additional experience

• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Project, Power Point , and Word

• Extensive understanding of the FAA Acquisition Management System (AMS)

• Familiarity with procurement processes

• Prior acquisition and contract management experience with the FAA

• Proven communication, analytical and problem-solving skills; as well as, the ability to identify and resolve issues

• Apply analytical techniques in gathering data to solve complex technical problems (e.g., requirements definition, operations research, modeling)
