JBT Corporation Field Service Technician in United States

The Opportunity ... As our Field Service Technician, you will report to the Field Service & Technical Support Manager from JBT/Avure. You will oversee customer site installations and commissioning of equipment, training, retrofits, service, and preventative maintenance. Projects will vary in length between a few days to 4 weeks. When not at customer locations, you are responsible for platform testing, customer support, and in-house support of other departments. On a given day, you may: Install & commission new systems within the schedule and budget provided by the project team. This includes all aspects of: Mechanical systems Hydraulic systems (up to 3,000psi) Ultra-high pressure fluid systems (up to 120,000psi) Electrical systems (24VDC to 480 VAC) Controls systems (RS Logix5000, ControlLogix and Ethernet) Hydraulic system troubleshooting and rebuilding of variable pumps, directional valves, relief valves and intensifiers. Centrifugal pump troubleshooting and rebuild. Working on filtration systems. Administration and reporting of projects. Lead on site project staff, consisting of customer maintenance crew and external contractors. Train customers and Avure staff through both classroom settings and practical applications. Requirements for the role AS, AAS, or equivalent education/work experience. 3+5 years of experience in a Field Service Technician capacity. Ability to read and interpret hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical prints, along with PLC ladder logic. Use of torque wrenches. Use of precision measurement instruments. Proficiency in electro-mechanical systems. Experience installing multimillion dollar capital equipment products. Experience working with PLC's, HMI, and SCADA systems. Travel & Location You will be fully remote, and we ask that you travel approximately 90% (domestically and international). You have a Valid Driver's License and capability of obtaining a valid US passport. The estimated annual salary range for this role is $62K - $84K.
