Job Description: Simco NJ, Inc., a manufacturer of wire harnesses, cable assemblies and electro-mechanical assemblies is seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Production Supervisor to join our team. As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the activities of the mechanical department, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest quality standards. This is a hands-on role that requires strong mechanical knowledge.

Key Responsibilities: * Operate wire processing machinery efficiently and safely, ensuring adherence to quality standards * Set up and maintain crimp applicators for various termination equipment to optimize production processes * Supervise daily mechanical manufacturing operations based on the current production schedule, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards * Assist in inventory management of various electronic components, including tracking inventory levels and replenishing supplies as needed * Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operation * Collaborate with other teams to implement process improvements and resolve production issues

Qualifications: * Proven experience operating wire processing machinery and setting up crimp applicators for termination equipment * Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills * Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred * Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skill * Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment * Knowledge of inventory management principles and practices is a plus
