Job Title: Equipment Mechanic/ Turf Mechanic

Job Description

• Accurately test, troubleshoot, and diagnose failures on hydraulic, electrical systems, and gasoline and diesel engines.

• Perform all repairs to meet quality control standards and in accordance with SRT.

• Prepare accurate estimates for parts & labor.

• Read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics.

• Welding as needed.

• Assembly of new equipment to customer specs and within SST.

• Preparation of Demo, Loaner, Pre-owned sale and rental units according to request and specifications.

Hard Skills

• Experience with hydraulics and electrical systems.

• Ability to use hand/ power tools.

• Experience with turf equipment is preferred.

Soft Skills

• Team player

• Ability to take direction

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 months

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Sarasota, Florida.

Work Environment

• This role takes place in an mechanical shop environment. The workspace is climate controlled shop located right off I-75. Shop is clean and organized.
