Maintenance Technician Pay is $18 to $25 an hour depending on experience Work Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 7AM to 5PM We are looking for Maintenance Technician to work in our Toccoa, GA Manufacturing Plant. The ideal candidate will have 3 or more years of experience working as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing facility, have strong mechanical skills, good troubleshooting ability, and be able to work independently and in a team environment. Primary Responsibilities are, but not limited to the following:

• Maintain, repair, and install all machinery in the plant, which may include, but is not limited to: electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, as well as general building maintenance.
• Performs mechanical and electrical troubleshooting on plant equipment .
• Performs preventive maintenance and inspections on plant equipment.
• Performs major and minor equipment rebuilds as needed.
• Uses machine shop equipment (mill, lathe, drill press, band saw, welder) to fabricate metal parts
• Installs electrical circuits for equipment repair or modification.
• Buildings and grounds maintenance as required
• Installs or repairs machine guards and safety equipment.
• Assists with special projects as directed by Plant Manager.

Requirements:

• Good troubleshooting ability and manual dexterity
• Strong mechanical skills
• Must be able to climb ladders and work with aerial platforms
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to multi-task and work independently and in a team environment
• Must be able to stand for 10 hours with short breaks
• Must be able to safely lift 80 lbs
