Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Project and Portfolio Manager to join Seacoast Bank. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects while effectively managing the overall IT portfolio to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, project management expertise, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, with a particular emphasis on managing large, complex IT infrastructure projects.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Project Planning and Execution

 · Lead the planning and execution of large, complex IT infrastructure projects, including data center migrations, network upgrades, and cloud migrations.

 · Develop detailed project plans, resource schedules, and budgets, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and technical requirements.

 · Coordinate with infrastructure teams, vendors, and external partners to ensure seamless integration and implementation of infrastructure solutions.

 · Monitor project performance, track milestones, and manage dependencies to mitigate risks and ensure on-time delivery.

IT Portfolio Management

 · Manage a portfolio of large-scale IT infrastructure projects, balancing competing priorities, resource constraints, and stakeholder expectations.

 · Conduct regular portfolio reviews to assess the health and progress of infrastructure initiatives, identifying opportunities for optimization and efficiency gains.

 · Collaborate with senior leadership to align infrastructure investments with business goals and technology roadmaps.

Stakeholder Engagement

 · Engage with key stakeholders, including business leaders, IT executives, and end users, to understand infrastructure requirements, priorities, and constraints.

 · Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on infrastructure projects, address concerns, and solicit feedback to drive continuous improvement.

 · Act as a liaison between technical teams and business units, translating technical requirements into business outcomes and vice versa.

Project Team Leadership

 · Lead a cross-functional multidisciplinary teams of engineers, architects, and technicians to design, deploy, and support complex IT infrastructure solutions.

 · Provide strategic direction, mentorship, and guidance to team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.

 · Facilitate knowledge sharing and skills development within the infrastructure team, promoting professional growth and development.

Quality Assurance and Risk Management

 · Establish and enforce quality assurance processes and standards for infrastructure projects, ensuring adherence to industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

 · Identify potential risks and vulnerabilities in infrastructure designs and implementations, proactively implementing mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions and security breaches.

 · Conduct post-implementation reviews and lessons learned sessions to identify areas for improvement and inform future infrastructure initiatives.

Skills and Requirements

Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT project management, with a proven track record of successfully delivering large, complex IT infrastructure projects.

 Experience managing IT portfolios across multiple projects and initiatives.

 Proficiency in project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, etc.

 Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

 Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

 Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and work effectively under pressure.

 Experience working in cross-functional teams and collaborating with diverse stakeholders.

 Knowledge of IT governance frameworks, standards, and best practices. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree preferred.

 Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent preferred. null
