Information Technology Paid Internship Available for Summer 2024 Full-time (SUMMER) Hourly Rate

State College is hiring two Interns to join the Information Technology team. The positions will work closely with Information Technology staff and others in the organization to complete tasks, reports, and projects. This is a 40-hour work week (up to 300 hours per position), generally 8:30am to 4:30pm Monday through Friday, and the rate of pay is $16.00 per hour.

Current projects include technical problem troubleshooting and resolution, computer equipment replacement, various software implementations, multifactor authentication implementation, and other duties as assigned.

Examples of duties:

• Provides technical support via phone, email, and in-person • Escalates and assigns tickets as necessary to appropriate team members • Tracks and follows up on tickets with pending response from end-users • Promptly responds to requests for services • Coordinates with all staff and clients on the preparation, installation, and replacement of equipment • Provides reports as needed • Researches new technologies and processes evaluation discussions • Utilizes various technologies to resolve issues for staff and clients
