*This position is in-office at least three (3) days per week with the ability to Telework the remaining days of the week.

This Office of the Inspector General (OIG) consists of five divisions: Background Studies, Licensing, Program Integrity Oversight, Legal Counsel, Business Integration and Analytics and Enterprise Operations and Policy. The Program Integrity Oversight Division (PIO) is responsible for fraud and abuse prevention, detection, investigation, enforcement and remedy actions with regard to Department of Human Services (DHS) Minnesota Health Care Programs (MHCP) providers, including Medical Assistance (Medicaid) and Minnesota Care; Child Care Assistance Program providers, and public program recipients. This position exists to provide administrative and program implementation support to PIO by working in collaboration with the PIO leadership team to develop and implement administrative policies and procedures and standard operating practices.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

· Performing and/or assuring the timely performance of all business requirements established in the administrative policies and procedures and standard operating practices.

· Serving as a representative on the division’s PIO Central Intake Team Triage Representative, developing a detailed understanding of the work of PIO in order to receive, triage, and make determinations about the treatment of reports of suspected provider and recipient fraud, waste, or abuse.

· Providing administrative support as required by PIO including:

o Managing schedules.

o Meeting document production/processing.

o Providing Technical Service Liaison (TSL) duties for division employees.

o Providing support for division communications and human resource processes and procedures.

· Working in collaboration with and providing administrative support as required to PIO and its reporting Divisions.

Minimum Qualifications

Two (2) years advanced administrative support, paraprofessional, or technical experience managing voicemail and email and intakes through data entry; OR

Associate degree Information Management, Data Analysis, Human Services, Criminal Justice, or in related field and 1-year advanced administrative support, paraprofessional, or technical experience managing voicemail and email and intakes through data entry; OR

Experience must demonstrate the following:

· Make determinations about the treatment of reports.

· Perform the coordination and administrative tasks of hiring and onboarding process.

· Ensure accurate processing of receivable and payment information.

Preferred Qualifications

· Working knowledge of the statutes, rules, policies, mission and duties of the PIO Division in relation to the Department as a whole, to consumers, other governmental agencies, and internal and external stakeholders.

· Knowledge of principles and techniques of program planning, development, and evaluation.

· Broad comprehensive understanding of the Medicaid programs.

· Proficiency in the use of computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat Pro, and the ability to learn, understand, and apply new technologies to maximize efficiencies and organize complex information in a meaningful way.

· Exceptional customer service skills.

· Excellent writing and speaking skills.

· Ability to develop and maintain professional working relationships and work collaboratively and respond flexibly to changing and sometimes conflicting priorities and demands.

· Variety of experiences working effectively with others from different backgrounds and cultures.

Additional Requirements

Ability to become a notary (both in person and remote) on documents as required by statute.
