Amazon SAS-Core Team Lead, Global Selling, Korea in Seoul, South Korea

Description

Amazon is looking for a talented team leader for the Global Selling SAS-Core team, capable of ramping up and leading a team focused on driving Korea-based strategic Sellers to maximize their presence and business within Amazon Global marketplaces.

The team leader will design effective approaches to support strategic Seller growth on Amazon including identifying business opportunities to maximize selection, driving feature adoption, monitoring account health, performance, product quality, as well as to deliver the best e-commerce experience for both Sellers and Customers on Amazon.

The successful candidate will be self-directed, have strong people leadership and relentless focus on Customers as well as Sellers, and a big vision. Strong interpersonal skills, time management, and delivering projects under tight timelines with high standards are also required.

The key strategic objectives for this role include:

· Analyze business opportunities and recommend account management strategies and business plans in consultation with the Amazon marketplaces in order to grow selection from Korean Sellers

· Assist to drive Seller success as measured by feature adoption, performance, year-over-year growth and profitability

· Build a strong team by hiring, developing, and retaining top talent

· Provide inputs to the global selling Korean seller funnel strategy, establish connections with Amazon global marketplaces global product and program teams to support changes designed.

· Assisting in developing and improving standard operating procedures (SOP) for the team and training the team to achieve higher productivity and efficiency

· Partner with Product, Legal, Tax, Seller Performance, and Seller Support on gating, product quality, reporting, and compliance

· Participate in business reviews with Amazon Executive Leadership and make recommendations to assist in developing the business’s mid/long term plans for Korea.

Basic Qualifications

· BA/BS degree preferred

· 8+ years of experience with a blend of Sales, business, and product and/or program management roles

· Have record of driving projects to improve operations and support-related processes, with the ability to lead cross-functional discussions and to effectively scope and deliver projects under tight deadlines

· Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Korean and English

· Ability to interact at C-level with medium to large Korean and multinational companies

Preferred Qualifications

· Experiences in cross-border e-commerce

· MBA or relevant work experience

· Successful experience in hiring and people development

· Experience with supporting nascent products/services enter into new markets

· Superior analytical skills. Demonstrated ability to identify and solve ambiguous problems. In particular, identifying customer (buying and selling) needs and inventing new ways to meet those needs

· Demonstrated ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a high-energy, fast-paced environment

· Excellent communication skills with the ability to face external and internal partners in a professional and mature manner.

· Strong project management skills

· Attention to detail and high capability to work on different projects in parallel.
