Amazon Senior Program Manager, Agent Development in Seattle, Washington

Description

The Learner Performance Sr Program Manager plays a key role as part of the broader Agent Development (AD) team to deliver impactful and scalable solutions that drive the right outcomes for the business. We achieve this through analysis of learner performance data and customer feedback, identification of actionable insights, closed-loop improvement planning and execution with peer AD teams and the business.

The ideal candidate for this role will be:

  • A communicator who interacts with stakeholders across levels and geographies to gather input and feedback

  • Able to build data insights to analyze and isolate issues, develop solutions, and prioritize opportunities

  • Able to communicate and iterate on a comprehensive set of metrics to measure the performance of Learners and training impact

  • Flexible to changing priorities, open to new ideas

Key job responsibilities

  • Data Analysis, Root Cause Problem Solving, Path To Green solutioning, and Driving Actions

  • Report New Hire (NH) performance in the Monthly Program Review against operational metrics and deep dive misses

  • Coordinate path to green (PTG) action plans with internal and external stakeholders

  • Document Learner Performance callouts and metrics for the AD Weekly Business Review (WBR)

  • Proactively partner with Ops to uncover top defects post-ramp, and working with Learning Experience Design (LXD) and Training Delivery (TD) on learning initiatives to drive down defects

  • Analyze ramp trends for top questions and defects by NHs, working with LXD and TD on ramp education initiatives

  • Proactively partner with ramp support teams to uncover top defects in ramp, working with LXD and TD on learning initiatives to drive down defects

  • Initiate a closed loop mechanism with TD/LXD to inspect survey and assessment findings and actions that ties to program level performance

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of program or project management experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of driving process improvements experience

  • Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $92,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
