SUMMARY This is a summer job (early May to end of July 2024), Coordinating Events and Administrative work for a company in Saxonburg. The pay is $20.75 an hour.  The work schedule is Monday - Friday from May to June 26. Then from June 27 - July 31, this person will work most Saturdays and Sundays, with two days off during the week, to total 40 hours a week. Daily hours are 8:00 am -- 4:00 / 4:30 pm. If you are unable to work on any of these days, we will try to accommodate that.  

This company has been developing their warehouse processes, software, and operations at the Saxonburg location. During the summer, they are expecting employees and volunteers daily from other locations across the US, to see the new systems and help develop them, as they roll this out to other locations.

POSITION •    Greet, welcome, assist and walk visitors to the right department or person. Make sure people are in the right places at the right time. •    Make sure visitors have everything need -- like directions for parking, security access, and key fobs (someone else issues these). •    Order lunch from the caterers and some other online sites for delivery. Receive deliveries. When necessary, use a cart to get the food to where it needs to be and set it up. •    Help with hiring events and assist the hiring manager. Greet candidates, welcoming, and walk them to the right department, and hand out paperwork. Access the hiring portal and assist with tasks. •    Input data into the computer. 

REQUIREMENTS •    Likes to help people. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to problem solve.  •    Strong planning, organized, and prioritization skills. Can adapt to change. •    Requires being on your feet most of the time, walking, bending, moving items and light lifting. •    Available to complete the whole assignment.  •    Computer skills: Able to order things online and navigate software/internet. Able to use online meetings to communicate with others. Create simple Excel spreadsheets to organize data.
