Co-Op - C&S - 2004426

DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Components and Systems Co-Op students will be involved with all aspects of the assembly department at II-VI. This position will be responsible for completing daily tasks within the department with the goal of exposing the student to many common processes and practices. Production assistance as well as learning is the focus of this position.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities  * Follow direction from department supervisor on daily tasks within the department  * Working daily handling with optical assembly components  * Perform incoming inspection on hardware using various techniques and tools  * Including exposure/training of Co2 laser, CMM as well as other measurement tools  * Reliable attendance

Education & Experience  * Co-Op Student - High School

Skills  * Good hand eye coordination  * Ability to accurately listen to instruction and complete tasks unsupervised once trained

Working Conditions  * Optical assembly lab

Physical Requirements  * Ability to lift 50lbs
