Amazon Senior Partner Development Manager, ISVs, LATAM Technology Partnerships in Sao Paulo, Brazil

As a Partner Development Manager within Amazon Web Services (AWS), you will have the exciting opportunity to deliver on our strategy to build mind share and adoption of Amazon’s infrastructure web services across AWS’s strategic business partners and their customers.

Your responsibilities will include driving executive and field relationships with leading ISVs. By establishing and growing business and technical relationships, and managing the day-to-day interactions with these accounts, you will be responsible for driving top line revenue growth and overall end customer adoption across all market segments.

The ideal candidate will possess both a business background that enables them engage at the CXO level, as well as a sales background that enables them to easily interact with enterprise customers and sales/field reps. He/she should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Manage assigned Partner accounts and lead the extended team working within their accounts in Brazil.

• Develop joint Partner Business Plans, set strategies and goals and execute against them.

• Work with multiple sales and technical teams within both AWS and each partner to define and execute joint technology integration, marketing and business development initiatives.

• Serve as a key member of the AWS alliance team in helping to define and deliver our go-to-market strategy with partners.

• Ensure that AWS is each partner’s preferred public cloud computing platform across all partner product lines.

• Understand the technical requirements of each partner and work closely with the internal AWS development team to guide the direction of our product offerings.

• Have working experience with CRM systems, data warehousing and other analytic tools to establish detailed metrics for tracking purposes.

• Prepare and give business reviews to the senior management team.

Sales, Marketing and Global Services (SMGS)

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

Key job responsibilities

  • Establish long term relationship with some of the largest ISVs in LATAM region

  • Use of programs and mechanism to drive successful partnership motions

  • Understanding of key challenges faced by software companies to expand their business, both technical and business perspectives, and create solutions using AWS Partnership Mechanisms

Basic Qualifications

  • 6+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience

  • MBA

  • 6+ years of professional or military experience

  • Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level

  • Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

  • Experience influencing internal and external stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations

  • Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements
