This is a benefited, full time position generally working Monday-Friday from 8am-4:30pm with some flexibility. Located at Scripps Clinic in La Jolla. Travel to Encinitas required as needed.

Your job duties: * Perform patient need assessments and develop plan care. * Provide direct and indirect patient care services to include the administration of medications and educating patients. * Contribute to the team as necessary to ensure quality patient care within the RN scope of practice. * This position will support all four Perinatology locations and seven physicians.

Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:

• Prior OB/GYN RN experience
• Current California Registered Nurse License
• Current BLS from American Heart Association
• Must be able to successfully multi-task and remain calm and professional during hectic times.

Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:

• Prior experience in an ambulatory/clinic setting
• RN experience in Perinatology, OB/GYN, &/or Labor & Delivery
• Bachelor's degree in nursing
• Antenatal testing experience
• GDM certified or willingness to obtain the certification within six months of hire
