We are seeking a Power Platform developer with Power BI Experience for our client based in San Diego, California. This role is open to candidates outside of San Diego as well in a remote capacity. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining our database systems. You will work with various data sources, develop interactive dashboards and reports, and build custom applications to meet specific business needs. This role is central to our operations, as it directly impacts our ability to make data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI for data visualization and analysis.

• Integrate Power Platform solutions with various data sources, including SharePoint, SQL databases, cloud services, and third-party applications.

• Design and implement robust database systems, demonstrating expertise in ETL processes, data integration, and automation.

• Build custom applications using Power Apps to address specific business needs, considering user experience, data integration, and scalability.

• Create automated workflows and processes using Power Automate to streamline tasks and improve operational efficiency.

• Analyze requirements and design efficient, scalable, and easily maintainable Power Platform solutions.

• Develop insightful Power BI dashboards and reports to drive better business decisions.

• Provide support for existing solutions, diagnose issues, and implement fixes to ensure platform solutions meet company standards.

• Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure solutions meet business needs.

• Train end-users on the effective use of applications and maintain user guidelines.

• Continually update technical knowledge and skills by attending workshops, reviewing detail oriented publications, and participating in detail oriented societies.

• Ensure that all data management and usage within Power Platform solutions adhere to company data policies, industry standards, and relevant data protection regulations.

• Provide guidance and mentorship to entry level developers and team members on best practices related to data management, data integration, and data visualization within the Power Platform.

Requirements • In-depth knowledge of Database and Database Object is essential.

• Experience with EO/IR systems is required.

• Proficiency in Erwin Data is a must.

• Expertise in Microsoft SQL Server is mandatory.

• Familiarity with AB Testing methods is highly desirable.

• Solid understanding of Data Warehousing is expected.

• Proven experience in Design is necessary.

• Proficiency in ETL - Extract Transform Load is crucial.

• Hands-on experience with Flat File is expected.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Power Apps is desirable.

• Experience with Microsoft Power Automate is necessary.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI is required.
