AT&T has an opening for a Personnel Security Officer to support our National Security Segment at our San Antonio Office.

The Job duties/responsibilities of the Personnel Security Officer are as follows:

  • Responsible for developing, implementing, and administering the corporate and government security policies, procedures, and programs across the contract

  • Maintains liaison with outside agencies and keeps upper management and the government informed of all security activities

  • Responsible lead officer on technical and physical security requirements at site

  • Responsible lead for maintaining locks, alarms, badges, phone, and access control system. Candidate will use knowledge and thorough understanding of ICD-705 to implement and manage Physical Security Controls.

  • Responsible lead for visitor control, employee identification and safeguarding of company facilities, equipment, materials, and employee property

  • Responsible lead for developing/executing physical/procedural security plans/programs

  • Provide personnel security support (to include acquisition and maintenance of clearances at varying levels) to work force

  • Partner with program security management to identify and resolve potential risks to sensitive program and customer operations; maintaining and expanding relationships with customer security authorities to facilitate security issues important to AT&T business

  • Provide advanced professional government security support across a broad spectrum of security discipline; personnel, physical, procedural, and classification management, to enable diverse program activities and personnel executing United States Government (USG) contracts and business development

  • Serves as the official USG-mandated Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) for program office/location

  • Counsels personnel on personal circumstances related to clearance issues.

Required Clearance:

TS/SCI with poly (#ts/sci) (#polygraph)

Required Qualifications:

  • Candidate must have 9 years of experience which can be a combination of work history and education: a bachelor’s degree and 5 years’ experience, an associate degree and 7 years’ experience, or a high school diploma and 9 years’ experience. Required qualifications include the following:

  • Must possess a thorough understanding of all Public Laws, Executive Orders, directives, regulations, and policies associated with Intelligence Community (IC) Security requirements. This includes working knowledge of both Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs), as well as the Security Executive Agent Directives (SEADs) used by the Director of National Intelligence (DNI) as a means of disseminating national security policy and requirements relative to gaining and maintaining access to TOP SECRET/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) materials and spaces

  • Knowledge of classified system support required along with an ability to support all aspects of Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) and IC accredited classified systems

  • Experience with sub-contract security management

Desired Qualifications:

Successful Facility Security Officer (FSO) training through the Center for Development and Security Excellence (CDSE) or comparable USG personnel/physical security professional training is required
