POSITION SUMMARY: The Maintenance Technician will perform routine and preventative maintenance on equipment. The Maintenance Technician will need to be able to work autonomously and responsibly by observing all safety guidelines. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform preventative, routine, and non-routine maintenance on facility equipment. Arrange certification and qualification activities with third party contractors in line with production schedules. Escort external contractors and supplies on site during certifications and qualifications. Document all work on validated systems including equipment logs, readings, and alarm investigations to meet the requirements of CGMP. Order and maintain appropriate spare parts level for production process equipment. Participate in investigations for Corrective and Preventative Actions, Deviations, and root cause analysis of equipment. Participate in the writing of SOPs, Forms and other documentation associated with the facility. Perform qualifications on routine equipment within both the CGMP and Research and Development areas. Perform other duties as assigned. Weekends, after hours, and travel may be required to support production schedules.
