Lead the Global Market Access, Cell Therapy function for BMS, with the following key responsibilities:

High Level Responsibilities

  • The VP & Head of Global Market Access, Cell Therapy leads the development of access, pricing, reimbursement, and value demonstration strategies for our BMS’s cell therapy brands across all market (US and International) and all therapeutic areas. In this role, the VP is a member of the Global Market Access, Pricing, and Value Demonstration (MAx) Leadership Team.Access, Pricing, and Value Demonstration (MAx) Leadership Team.

  • This role requires overseeing the design, development, and training of access strategies, pricing approaches, and value communication tools for all global markets (US and International). We are looking for a highly effective leader that can work across cross-functional teams including commercial, medical affairs, HEOR, research & development, manufacturing and ex-us geographies.

  • The candidate must be highly strategic, have a strong mix of US and International market access experience.

  • The candidate should also have strong commercial and scientific acumen, an ability to manage through the access, pricing, and value demonstration complexities associated with Cell Therapy.

  • Candidate should have a visionary focus and mindset to match the considerable innovation that Cell Therapy represents.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 15 years pharmaceutical industry experience; at least, 10 years in areas related to access, pricing and reimbursement, with experience in both US and International Market markets or at the global level

  • Deep experience in Oncology/Hematology required; experience in Cell Therapy strongly preferred.

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Advanced scientific, MBA, or health economics degree/experience preferred.

  • A track record of diverse industry experiences across multiple customer segments,

  • Proven ability to both perform in-depth analytical analyses and to communicate these results in a simple, clear and concise manner to executives.

  • Proven deep understanding providers contracting.

  • Strong knowledge of, and expertise with, key pricing and reimbursement systems worldwide and the role of HTA/HEOR.

  • Proven ability to lead and provide growth opportunities for a team of high performing individuals.

  • Exceptionally strong strategic thinking skills and ability to apply in a variety of complex business situations.

  • Proven ability to stimulate and lead through change.

  • Ability to listen, and yet be decisive; and to create an environment that values diversity of thoughts and opinion.

  • Excellent communication skills: with ability to flex communication style across a broad and diverse set of international markets. Ability to communicate complex pricing analyses in simple terms. Well-developed presentation skills with strong capabilities to lead effective presentations with all levels of management.

  • Ability to influence key decision-making across diverse functional areas, up to and including the C-Suite.

  • Proven focus on integrity and credibility.
