Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a GIS Technician for a large client in Pittsburgh, PA. The GIS technician is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and managing geographic data using specialized software tools and techniques, as well as creating templates and maps. They gather data from various sources, such as maps, satellite imagery, aerial photographs, and survey data. GIS technicians play a vital role in spatial data management and contribute to mapping and analysis efforts for a large telecommunications provider across the US.

Skills and Requirements

1. One year of experience working with GIS

2. Associates Degree (or relevant years of experience) in Geography, GIS, Environmental Science

3. Experience with ArchPRO and ArchOnline -- creating the maps and templates

4. Experience with AutoCAD Experience with GIS within the Utilities Industry (telecom, power, gas, water)

Bachelor's Degree

Experience using Python in ArchGIS null
