Amergis Pre-School Director in Pinellas Park, Florida

Salary: $55,000 - $60,000

Our Amegis Education Services Team is currently seeking a highly skilled Pre-School Director in Pinellas County, Florida.

Requirements:

The minimum qualifications for this position are:

• Minimum 2 years Director experience in an Early Learning/Extended Before and After Care program

• Experience working in a school age program.

• Knowledge of licensing rules and regulations and compliance requirements with the Early Learning Coalition

• Active Florida Director’s Credential with VPK Endorsement (must be renewed every 5 years)

• Level two background screened and cleared.

• Must be 21years of age.

Position Details:

We are looking for experienced Directors who are true leaders and are enthusiastic about early childhood education! If you have a background in after-school programs, administrative and classroom management skills, and a knack for leadership and teamwork, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

· Setting expectations and implementing appropriate grade level curriculum for students ranging from 2 months through 5 years old as well as extended care programs ranging from grade K-8th.

· Drive enrollment.

· Facilitate professional goal setting among faculty.

· Train and mentor exceptional teachers in our Director in Training program.

· Provide feedback on goal achievement and curriculum achievements on a regular basis.

· Manage your centers budget.

· Oversee the planning and implementation of student activities on campus.

· Monitor all aspects of our programs to ensure that compliance is maintained and that families are receiving quality services in accordance with the local licensures, the Early Learning Coalitions, the Florida Department of Education, and the company’s Policies and Procedures.

· Responsible for Key Performance Indicators (KPI) to include enrollment, profit and loss, student assessment data, facility needs and compliance.

· Professional communication with the corporate team, families and staff.

· Responsible for hiring, training, and supervising staff based on individual center needs.

· Providing supervisory support and staff development through evaluations

· Overseeing the curriculum used in the center through lesson plan review and classroom observations.

· Ensure children’s needs for social, mental, cognitive, and physical development are met constantly through ongoing assessments and evaluations.

· Use Assessment Data to research, plan and develop ways to ensure growth and development of each child’s educational needs and ensure scores are exceeding expectations.
