Midwest Processors Facility/Sanitation Manager in Pierz, Minnesota

Communicate and implement safety policies to ensure compliance wit hall applicable safety laws and regulations. Model employee safety practices by following all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of safety equipment. Streamline processes and procedures in pursuit of robust compliance and operating efficiency. Develop processes that will maximize stewardship, safety, quality, efficiency, and productivity. Increase production, assets capacity, and flexibility while eliminating waste and maintaining quality standards. Set production goals and other key indicators. Monitor equipment to minimize downtime, maximize product output, and trigger corrective actions. Adjust resources to meet production schedules through capacity planning and equipment utilization. Develop a sanitation program and procedures to ensure food production is compliant with regulatory requirements and that facilities are kept in clean and hygienic condition. Daily oversight and maintenance of records for pre-operational and operational sanitation. Maintain clean and orderly work areas. Design and implement process and equipment improvements. Perform routine safety checks on all equipment. Maintain documentation of all schematics, inspections, repairs and upgrades. Utilize data to establish long-term and short-term equipment overhauls and upgrades. Research, design, and implement new technology to improve equipment performance. Order and maintain adequate spare parts within budgetary guidelines. Track expenses to ensure adherence to budgets. Ultimately responsible for all maintenance work being done properly and timely.
