Menasha Packaging Maintenance Technician 2nd/R3144/Pelahatchie in Pelahatchie, Mississippi

This Position is for a Maintenance Technician 2nd Shift with a company located in Pelahatchie.

 

Job Summary: Maintain and repair machinery and equipment, including preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and installation of new equipment.

 

Responsibilities and Duties: Work in a safe and efficient manner using all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), safety devices or equipment that is required in accordance with all Standard Work documentation. (If Standard Work is not developed for this job, proper trained techniques must be followed.)  Repair and maintain machinery, equipment, physical structures, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Perform routine preventative maintenance on processing equipment, processing support equipment, utility support equipment, and facility related machinery and equipment. Determine changes in dimensional requirements of parts, fabricate parts when needed, adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments. Follow blueprints, specifications, diagrams and service manuals to repair and maintain equipment. Repair broken parts using brazing, soldering, and welding equipment and hand tools. Prepare maintenance reports, document and communicate actions, irregularities and continuing needs through the use of EAM. Be actively involved in Continuous Improvement; promote and sustain any and all CI, 5S and STW activities. Other duties as assigned.

 

Education and Qualifications: Performance Measures and Outcomes: Safety metrics / PM compliance /Unplanned downtime. 2-5 years of relevant work experience. Hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical troubleshooting. Blueprint reading 2-5 year's demonstrated knowledge of manufacturing processes and industrial maintenance.

 

Benefits: Starting wage $31.20 - $36.40, based on experience. Menasha Corporation offers a competitive 401(k) retirement plan.
