The Opportunity

Hach ( www.hach.com ), a Veralto company, ensures water quality for people around the world, and every associate plays a vital role in this critical mission.

This senior, individual contributor Global Business Development role will lead Hach's new Services strategy. It has been created to accelerate competitive advantage by devising and deploying ‘white space’ services across key geographical regions. These new Services offerings will likely also include technology-related elements such as AI, digitalization, data & connectivity etc.

The jobholder will consider unmet customer needs, market dynamics & competition, assess possible partnerships and channels, align with and influence Hach’s global leadership, feed new service offerings into product management, and collaborate with Marketing to develop and articulate the Services brand, collateral, and web presence.

This high-profile position is part of the Hach’ Global Service Organization (500 associates) and can be remotely located in either North America or Europe.

The essential requirements include:

  • Senior business growth strategist from any industry, who has developed innovative and profitable new B2B offerings, ideally globally/across multiple regions

  • Exceptional relationship building, communication and influencing, at all levels internally and externally

  • Able to quickly grasp the global water market (products, players, new technologies, contacts etc) and articulate a compelling brand and marketing content

  • Sound understanding of the complexity of business needs and decision drivers within an organization. Must be able to consider available facts, constraints, competitive circumstances, and probable consequences

  • Strong qualitative (VOC) and quantitative (analytical modelling) assessment skills and experience, with the ability to interpret large amounts of information

  • Flexible to travel internationally up to 30%

The salary range for this role is $150,000 to $175,000 . This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Colorado. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus pay.
