Aerotek Industrial Maintenance Technician-hiring Asap in Orlando, Florida

Job Description

As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for preparing, executing, and documenting weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual preventative maintenance schedules. You will be called upon to handle emergency breakdowns with urgency, engaging external contractors when necessary. You will also be tasked with suggesting proactive solutions to problems encountered, providing hand sealer repair services, and conducting PAT Testing. Other duties include managing property repairs and general onsite maintenance, including occasional out of hours work for urgent repairs. You will also be required to competently set up and operate production machinery, work on various mechanical and electrical projects, and participate in the installation and commissioning of new machinery. You'll work within a small engineering team, reporting directly to the Engineering Manager. An important aspect of your role will be training other staff members on production machinery and ensuring all departments are working towards a common goal. Your duties may also extend to helping with production when engineering duties are completed.
