Protective Industrial Products Facilities Associate II in Olive Branch, Mississippi

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible and accountable for the coordination and direction of all warehouse activity inside the Production facility toward the achievement of maximum efficiency of operations with the assurance of producing quality products. Responsible for the warehouse’s performance in meeting the company’s operational goals relating to Fulfillment, Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and People.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Supervise, lead, and mentor hourly warehouse employees

  • Prioritize hourly warehouse employee workload, scheduling, and assessing performance

  • Partner with all functional departments to ensure meeting business unit and company safety, service, cost, and people goals

  • Requisition and maintain inventories of materials or supplies necessary to meet production demands

  • Utilizing continuous improvement mindset, identify and implement opportunities to improve processes

  • Tracks production and ensure all deadlines and schedules are met

  • Adheres to all safety rules, use and ensure that workers use the required protective equipment

  • Provide employees with guidance in handling difficult or complex problems or in resolving escalated complaints or disputes

  • Monitor and report daily production results, material usage, waste, and downtime

  • Direct and perform work related to packing of material such as stamping, sorting, labeling, palletizing, processing of material, etc.

    QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum three years’ experience in a supervisory or managerial role.

  • Manufacturing Industry experience.

  • Microsoft Office proficiency.

  • Attention to detail.

  • Ability to wear multiple hats and work in a multi-task environment.

  • Strong organizational skills
