Your new field of activity

In your new role as Commercial Head of Sales & Bid Management, the following activities will be part of your daily business:

You will lead the preparation of customer offers together with our bid team / bid managers as well as be responsible for the execution of projects together with our project teams / project managers (m/f/d) and design the framework of opportunity development and execution of bids together with our Sales & Bid team.

  • Early review and development of pipeline and strategic key account management with regions to develop a sales forecast with focus and backup opportunities

  • Alignment of sales strategy and focus opportunities with our head of sales and our regions to achieve best positioning for early involvement in sales activities

  • Govern our commercial bid processes globally with guidelines and global community

During the bid/offer phase, you will govern and drive with your team preparation of the commercial bid which includes, for example:

  • Preparation of competitive offers for international and complex erection projects, in cooperation with regional units and cross-functional stakeholders, includes the definition of business models, the implementation of a winning strategy from all commercial and contractual aspects.

  • Ensure compliance with processes and quality gates (LoA) and present your offers up to the business line and Siemens Logistics management.

  • Guide and direct in decisions for business models and transfer pricing to achieve best and compliant commercial solutions

  • Contribute to a smooth project start through continuous exchange between bid and execution team and a comprehensive project handover

Your qualifications

· 5 years of working experience is required, leadership experience preferred

· 3 years of airport / baggage handling experience

· University degree, preferably majored in Commercial / Finance / Accounting

· Knowledge of Siemens processes (e.g. LoA) and guidelines (e.g. NCM) is a plus

· Advanced knowledge in SAP operation practice and with Microsoft Office

· International working experience is a plus and proficiency in both spoken and written English due to multi-cultural working environment

· Open minded leader and team player who enjoys working in an international environment and highly motivated team with a value oriented mindset and spirit of continuous improvement

· Logical mindset with strong analytical capability and Initiative and change orientation in a fast growing market environment

· Ability to build long-term relationships with internal colleagues and external providers

· Ability to work independently with high commitment to support the growth of our Business
