Posting Summary
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a part-time hourly Clerical Assistant for the Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy. Seeking a motivated individual who is flexible and has the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Among the key duties of the position are the following:
  • Meeting scheduling and data entry; some telephone work and email communications; sorting and distributing incoming mail; special-events support; and other assignments as needed.

This position requires a fully on-site work arrangement.
FLSA Nonexempt
Position Salary $20-$25/per hour

Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience
  • High School diploma or equivalent, and/or up to 4 years of relevant office, clerical, or related experience depending on the duties to be performed.
  • An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be substituted for the experience requirement.

  • Must be flexible with schedule and have proven written and oral communication skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, professionalism, and exceptional interpersonal skills.
