Atlantic Health System ISS Revenue Cycle Summer Intern in Morristown, New Jersey
The ISS (Information Services & Support) Revenue Cycle Intern will work closely with Atlantic Health System's Patient Financial Tech Team. The Team is responsible for all end-to-end revenue dealings for the healthcare system (including ambulatory care, home health, and AHS' hospitals). The ISS Revenue Cycle Intern responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Assisting the team with end-to-end revenue dealings from patient charges through adjudication
Shadowing a payment architect and payment analyst and assisting with troubleshooting, reviewing financials, building payment solutions
Work closely to manage payment operations
Build relationships with directors and managers who the IT team collaborates with
Troubleshooting technical payment issues
Qualifications
Applicants must be currently enrolled in a full-time accredited undergraduate or graduate program at a public or private College/University, and be in good academic standing at their institution
Must be committed to completing the duration of the internship from June - August 2024
Must be committed to work 37.5 hours per week and commit to a minimum of 375 hours for the duration of the internship
Must be a US Citizen/Permanent Resident
Demonstrate strong analytical, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
Desired candidate will be a self-starter with a proactive mindset
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (knowledge of VLOOKUP functionality preferred)
Must have strong communication skills (Written & Verbal)
