West Virginia Employer Maintenance Technician in Morgantown, West Virginia

You'll conduct inspections, perform routine maintenance, and come up with ideas for preventative measures we can use to maximize the life of our equipment and minimize safety risks. Responsibilities Perform highly diversified duties to maintain client properties. Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs. Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting, and repair of machines. Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test, and make adjustments. Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines and equipment. Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions. Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties. Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision. Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas. This position requires travel. The successful candidate must have the ability to respond on nights and weekends to on-call maintenance requests. At least one year of maintenance/construction experience. Strong understanding of maintenance equipment, techniques and procedures. Must have graduated from high school/received GED or equivalent. Excellent work ethic, communication skills, time management skills, and attention to detail.
