Aerotek Aircraft Technician in Miami, Florida

Aerotek Aviation is currently seeking Aircraft Technicians to join their Miami, FL at the MRO leader in aircraft line maintenance engineering in the US.

Aircraft Tech Job Duties:

Perform Line maintenance (on-call and scheduled) work on various customers' aircrafts.

Perform routine maintenance and airworthiness releases (within scope of approval) returning aircraft to service.

Responsible for servicing, inspecting, and maintaining aircraft, aircraft engines, and associated components; effectively performs work to meet deadlines and performance goals.

Troubleshoot systems; disassemble, repair, and reassemble sections and components to maintain full functioning equipment according to Approved Technical Data provided by the customer.

Ensure all departing aircraft are safe in accordance with FAR’s and the air carrier/manufacturer manuals and all work performed is properly documented.

Perform line maintenance duties, activities and maintenance tasks as assigned.

Collaborate and communicate with the air carrier’s maintenance control center as required.

Skills & Qualifications:

Must have experience working on Boeing (B767, 37 OR B747)

Must have a current valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant License.

AMT I $28 - $32

AMT II $32-$38

AMT III $35-$41

AMT I

• Entry-level to 1 year of experience as an aircraft mechanic

• Possesses A&P License

AMT II

• 2-4 total years of experience as an AMT

• Possesses A&P license

• No safety violations

• AWR eligible

• All training is up to date

• No attendance issues

AMT III

• 4+ total years of experience as an AMT

• Possesses A&P license

• AWR eligible

• No attendance issues

• All training is up to date, no quality or safety violations
