About the Role
As IT Manager of the Magna Steyr plant in Phoenix you will be responsible for the local IT operation. This includes identifying local IT needs and providing IT services in accordance with the global Magna Steyr IT organization.
Your Responsibilities
Plan, develop and operate local IT services according to Magna Steyr IT policies and standards
Manage IT support according to service level objectives, on-call duty required
Manage the local IT team
Coordinate IT operations between the local IT team and the global teams of Magna and Magna Steyr IT
Implement the Magna Steyr IT strategy and plan future demands with business
Fulfill IT audit requirements
Implement and execute the IT management system for the plant
Lead and/or supervise IT projects
Contract and coordinate local third-party IT providers
Define, plan and run the IT integration with the customer
Manage budget and cost for IT services
IT security manager
Who we are looking for
Several years of managerial work experience in IT
Knowledge of processes and IT used in manufacturing industries, preferably automotive industries
Knowledge of IT client operations (Windows 10/11, Office 365, Microsoft Teams, sharepoint, mobile devices, smartphones, printing, ...)
Knowledge of hardware trouble shooting and IT service desk/phone support
Knowlege and troubleshooting skills of backend infrastructure (LAN, WLAN, Windows Server, Microsoft SQL, ...)
Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation
Experience in creating dashboards and reports with Microsoft Power BI
Flexible and willing to travel to Austria for training purposes
Fluent in English
Your preferred qualifications
College diploma or university degree in business administration, computer science or information systems
Knowledge of ITIL V4 and ITGC audit processes is advanageous
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on continuous improvement
Communication and project management skills
Resilience and adaptability in the face of challenges and changing priorities
