Aerotek Hoist And Crane Service Technician in Memphis, Tennessee

Description:

PORT TO PORT (for pay - pay starts when they leave their home to when they get back to their home)

Company VEHICLE

5-10% overnight travel - will receive $60 per diem, gas card, and company card for hotel stay

Clock in when you hit the road on an APP

Head to job-site, the app will either have a QUOTED JOB OR NON QUOTED JOB

If NO job on the app, go to office for further instructions (Millington, not here frequently)

Quoted job - very specific on the issue(s) and what to fix and what parts/tools are needed, how long should take, etc.

Non-quoted example is: Crane won't go up and down. *Must go there and troubleshoot and find the issue and repair

Will have to go into plant some times for tools, parts, and/or pick up scissor lift. (will have to bring back scissor lift after a job to office)

Report on repairs made.

NEEDS TO HAVE SOME COMPUTER AND APP EXPERIENCE

Skills:

crane, hoist, maintenance, repair, electrical, mechanical, welding, TWIC, OSHA 10, OSHA 40, OSHA

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

7a-330p standard shift. M-F

Will have some til 5 or possibly later.

Averaging around 50 hours a week.

Any hours worked Sunday = double time

Any hours worked Saturday = OT

Any hours worked after midnight = double time

Any hours exceeding 8 in one day = OT

Any hours from 6p-midnight = OT

Needs basic tools

ON CALL ROTATION (1-2 times a month for a week) 24/7 facility

MIN 4 hours of pay for any call

LOTS OF WALKING

LOTS OF CLIMBING

CANNOT BE AFRAID OF HEIGHTS

Must be able to lift 50+ lbs

They'll be on-site with customers on issues and 'selling' your service.

They need to be looking for potential issues and creating solutions versus waiting for someone to tell them something happened.

Self-starter, ambitious.
