About the role Department: Information Technology Manager's Title: Senior Director, IT Start Date: Summer 2024 (on-site); Must be able to commute to work daily; No housing stipends. This position will work with our IT Marketing, Sales, and Web development team to support several AI research initiatives. These include identifying trends in AI with manufacturing, documenting best practices for AI in business productivity, and building documentation on how to best implement AI initiatives. Our goal is to provide valuable insights and resources to help drive the success of our AI efforts. Responsibilities Conduct research and communicate the latest AI trends and technologies. Design and develop AI use cases or stories. Work in a team and collaborate with other departments. Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Data Analysis: Ability to analyze data and create visualizations for insights. Documentation: Skills in creating detailed documentation and business implementation proposals. Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills to document AI best practices and use cases effectively. Proficient with Microsoft Office products such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook. Copilot is highly desireable. Software Development: Experience with software development processes and tools like Git, Agile methodologies, and unit testing is a plus. Programming Skills: Proficiency in Python, R is a plus. Machine Learning: Understanding of machine learning algorithms and techniques is a plus. Education & Experience Must be a student currently enrolled as a sophomore or higher pursing a Bachelors or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fields.
