What You Will Do

The Tool Room Supervisor oversees production support, new tooling manufacturing, and prototype work, along with managing scheduling and paperwork. They lead and mentor staff, foster their development, organize departmental training, and oversee project progress. Additionally, they regularly evaluate tool and die systems to maintain cutting-edge processes.

• Ensure efficient operations within the Tool Room to uphold quality standards and deliver exceptional customer service.
• Prioritize production repairs, breakdowns, and support as the primary focus by closely monitoring projects and workload.
• Estimate time and cost for tooling and repairs.
• Supervise Tool Room staff, handling tasks such as hiring, performance appraisals, skill evaluations, coaching, devising formal training programs, and facilitating development.
• Document and chart improvements in machines, molds, dies, or assemblies, and justify the need for improvements and new equipment.
• Collaborate with and provide support to cell managers and business teams.
• Publish monthly Tool room measures.

What You Will Bring

• 4+ years\' relevant experience
• Toolmaker experience preferred
• 4 year degree preferred
• Molding/Die Certificate a plus
• May need to become HAZWOPER and RCRA certified
• Demonstrated leadership skills
• Flexibility to adjust priorities to meet department and organization needs
• Ability to manage multiple projects
