Role Description:

Project Manager prepares and manages capital and high value maintenance works of the Client. Coordinates between suppliers and retailers for the execution of project works performed at Shell sites. Actively monitors, and supervises onsite works, and ensures all HSSE rules and procedures are compliantly running. Acts as link between Client, and L3 suppliers. Supports Management and Project Admin’s daily job. Collaborates with project and operation team, sharing information and knowledge. Uses FMP to manage and coordinate work performance and identify opportunities to improve process.

Daily operational tasks

  • Schedules yearly project works plan including preventive maintenance , involving all client’s representatives

  • Performs and manages all work in accordance with established safety procedures during site visits.

  • Manages opening/closing POs according to Client’s indication

  • Takes part in selection and evaluation of new suppliers

  • Complies with all company policies and procedures and adhere to company standards.

  • Ensure fluent communication between Client and Suppliers.

  • Manages handover process

  • Matching of supplier invoice with WO and PO

  • Manages asset capitalisation together with Client’s representative

  • During warranty period manages related works

  • Perform other account related duties as required

Other Tasks

Coordination:

  • Acts as principal contact/liaison between Client, suppliers and Requestors for all project work.

  • Control the WOs, POs, capitalisation according to contractual scorecard target figures

  • Utilizes related software applications to manage work order history and track project’s costs.

Communication

  • Keeps client representatives appraised as to the scheduled works

  • Maintains links with client on general project activities

  • Provides efficient database to FM/PSC to update all relatedFMP data changes (Site and Equipment details)

  • Performance Monitoring

  • Provides sources for management reports/analysis of outstanding jobs,

  • Identifies opportunities to improve process, planning or performance through project demands and expectations.

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS/BEng/BArch) from College or University and/or equivalent related experience.

  • Prior Project Management experience is preferred.

CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES

  • PMP (US and/or Canada) and LEED AP preferred.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information.

FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE

  • Requires knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and/or commissions. Conducts basic financial analysis.

REASONING ABILITY

  • Ability to understand and carry out general instructions in standard situations. Ability to solve problems in standard situations. Requires intermediate analytical and quantitative skills.

OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES

  • Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to read and understand architectural drawings. Working knowledge in MS Project is helpful. Knowledge of leases, contracts, and construction practices preferred.

  • Decisions made with general understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to co-workers and supervisor.
