Clinical Resource Nurse

Purpose of Position or Position Summary:
The Clinical Resource Nurse is a registered nurse responsible for promoting and maintaining quality patient care through effective management of the patient care services. They work in coordination with the Nurse Director to implement and oversee orientation of all staffing positions within the department, development of annual competencies, and oversee and report quality improvement initiatives. The Clinical Resource Nurse works in conjunction with the Director to maximize patient care outcomes, manage fiscal responsibilities, and oversee as well as facilitate the needs of each surgical specialty.
Job Requirements:
Education/License:
RN license and certification in specialty required
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred
Experience:
More than 5 yrs.
Skills:
Analytical, BLS, Computer, Customer Relations, Grammar/Spelling, Interpersonal, Medical Terminology, Organizational and Verbal skills required
Other skills
(i.e. ACLS, PALS) required based on RN requirements for assigned department
