CPS E-Commerce Lead in Lehighton, Pennsylvania

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The E-Commerce Lead will be responsible for performing a variety of duties that will include but not limited to the following:

 

  • Supervises and develops warehouse laborers on their respective shifts to ensure proper inventories, record keeping, storage, packaging, and shipment of product to end customers.
  • Delegates and assigns tasks to E-Commerce laborers.
  • Adheres to the compliance of all legal and safety procedures.
  • Manage the E-Commerce staff to ensure their work follows policies and procedures and that work activities are compliant with requirements.
  • Responsible to fulfil all orders received on a daily basis
  • Work closely with the team to pick and package orders in preparation for shipping
  • Performs product packaging, pallet wrapping, banding, tagging, labeling, etc.
  • Stock all materials in the E-Commerce area and report stock shortages on a daily basis
  • Complete all activities delegated by the Warehouse Manager and/or the Transportation Supervisor and confirms daily their status.
  • Maintain tidiness and cleanliness standards of all aisles and external work areas on a daily basis
  • Reports inventory discrepancies and product damage to the Warehouse Manager

     

     

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required:

  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse environment.
  • Strong communication skills at all levels of interaction.
  • Ability to make sound and logical decisions.
  • Knowledge of the safety and legal documentation processes for handling related warehouse activities.
  • Must be task oriented and committed to execution.
  • Effective time management skills with the ability to complete tasks in order to meet deadlines.
  • Work as a team player and have the ability to effectively coordinate with the Warehouse Manager and other department team members.
  • Should demonstrate fair but firm supervisory skills.
  • Ability to manage people and a team of warehouse specialists.
  • Basic knowledge of Outlook, Excel and Word is preferred.
  • Familiarity with SAP is preferred.
  • Ability to use power tools and equipment.
  • Ability to use warehouse equipment such as a forklift, banding machine, scanners, etc.
  • Ability to manage a highly stressful, fast paced environment.
  • Physically able to stand, bend, stoop, climb, reach and lift heavy weight.
  • Ability to lift heavy materials and physically fit.
