The guide will provide step-by-step instructions on designing parsers that efficiently process and normalize diverse data sources, ensuring compatibility and uniformity within the XDR ecosystem. By addressing the intricacies of data parsing, the project aims to empower cybersecurity professionals with the knowledge and skills needed to seamlessly integrate varied data formats into the XDR platform, ultimately enhancing its threat detection and response capabilities. Duties & Responsibilities include:. * Setup logging for additional sources * Monitor security alerts and analyze logs for suspicious activity. * Develop and implement rules for alerting on potential security incidents. * Create reports on security incidents and recommend improvements to the monitoring process. * Create OPL on understanding and creating instructions on how XDR platform ingest and normalizes syslog telemetry Basic & Preferred Qualifications * Must be a current Junior, Senior, or Master's student enrolled in a related program: Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, or related field * Minimum GPA 3.0 preferred * Knowledge or experience in Security or Networking is a plus * Ability to work independently, and in an efficient and organized manner. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. * Strong verbal communication an
