Aerotek is hiring for a service mechanic in Johnsburg, Illinois at a reputable company looking for motivated employees that want to learn and do service work around the Chicagoland area in a company vehicle.

Job Description:

• Prepare, inspect, and operate machines prior to delivery.

• Deliver and pick up equipment to/from correct addresses, set up/tear down equipment on job sites, and obtain signatures and proof of receipt when necessary

• Remove, disassemble, assemble, and install components and parts

• Perform preventative maintenance tasks, service, and maintain equipment sold and/or owned

Qualifications:

• Experience as automotive technician, maintenance technician, or any repair

• Experience troubleshooting and repairing machinery or equipment

• Open to travel around the US when required (NOT MUCH)

Work Environment / Shift:

• 1st Shift: 7 am - 3:30 pm

• Job shop environment and work in the field as well

• Steel toed boots and eventually need your own tools
