Edwards is hiring a Senior Director of IT Solutions Delivery for Finance & G&A. In this role you will be dedicated to technical solutions for our Finance and Corporate Services functions and integration assistance for HR technology. You’ll lead a team that creates, configures, and integrates technology solutions that digitize, optimize, and re-engineer business processes to enable a competitive advantage and superior experience for our customers and patients.

We are looking for a transformative leader than can assist the team with transitioning from a hybrid delivery model to an Agile framework, including integration with our global competency centers. In this role, you will be redefining technology enablement. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a brand-new IT organization and expansion at Edwards, as we move towards a future ready state.

Candidates must have experience within an IT or technology organization, and experience delivering technical solutions for Finance stakeholders. The individual in this role must be a strong people leader with global team experience, have solid communication skills that can influence others to action, and be comfortable working in a highly-matrix, team-oriented IT environment.

This role is required to be local/relocate to the Orange County area and working on-site in a hybrid model.

How you’ll make an impact:

  • Lead and manage a technology portfolio of multiple critical systems, tools, & solutions to support the Edwards Finance and corporate services organizations

  • Lead the implementation and delivery of major financial platforms

  • Assist with HR solutions where they integrate with IT Finance Applications

  • Enable business value realization through the design, development, validation, and deployment of IT solutions according to prioritized capability roadmaps

  • Utilize industry trends and best practices to identify applications and build effective and responsive delivery and support teams

  • Collaborate with IT Business Partners, Enterprise Architecture, Infrastructure, Internal Audit and Security to identify and improve systems, processes, and services for the respective functions

  • Accountable for setting and managing priorities and schedules for IT resources and level-set delivery expectations with IT Business Partners and business stakeholders

  • Manage relationships with various technology vendors and internal stakeholders to achieve project, enhancement, and service support delivery for the respective IT application portfolio

  • Responsible for application upgrades, performance, functionality improvements, security, validation, and general maintenance

  • Coach/mentor team members, including dotted-line reports as necessary. Align team members in roles to best take advantage of their strengths and to grow/diversify their skillsets

  • Manage planning, staffing, budgeting for the IT Finance & G&A Delivery lane

What you’ll need (Required):

  • Local to the Orange County/LA Metro area or ability to relocate (no remote/long distance commute option)

  • Bachelor’s degree in STEM or Business

  • 17+ years’ proven track record performing in an IT/application delivery function (14+ years with a Masters degree)

  • Successful track record of multiple enterprise-wide finance implementations.

  • 7+ years work with financial processes and solutions

  • Experience with Global IT leadership of full-time employees (vendor management only does not suffice)

  • Strong people management experience with HR responsibilities within a comparably sized or larger multi-national company

  • Track record organizing and developing teams to successfully deliver enterprise finance-related technology solutions (ie: JDE/ERP, Oracle Fusion, Oracle EPBCS, Coupa, Concur, OneStream, Blackline, etc)

  • Experience working with Scrum at Scale and a competency center delivery model

  • Strategic thinker, keeping big picture in mind while ensuring execution excellence that enhances business decision making capabilities

  • Comfortable working in a dynamic and highly matrixed environment; working effectively with business functional teams, remote development teams, as well as cloud hosted or SaaS vendors and partners

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and executive presentation skills with ability to influence and motivate at various levels of the organization

  • Demonstrated success in leading large, complex projects within budget and meeting deadlines.

  • Skilled at aligning organization and business goals, with success driving organizational change management.

  • Must be passionate about current technological trends and ability to apply to the future vision

  • Demonstrate strong customer, quality, cost, and delivery focus

What else we look for (Preferred):

  • Masters Degree

  • CPA Certification

  • Experience working with 21 CFR Part 11 and GxP software validated systems

  • Experience in a highly regulated industry

Travel:

  • Up to 25% international travel per year

For California, the base pay range for this position is $182,400.00 - $246,200.00 (highly experienced).
