About the Indiana Department of Administration (IDOA):

IDOA helps to ensure the smooth function of state government, finding efficient and effective solutions to government-wide needs.

Role Overview:

As a Warehouse Associate, you will go out with the Warehouse supervisor every day and pick up and deliver State property from local State agencies and bring it back to our warehouse. You will use a forklift, dolly, and hand truck. When you are not delivering or doing pick/ups, you will help in the warehouse by assisting customers with loading and unloading property. Must be forklift qualified or able to pass certification for forklift.

Salary Statement:

The salary for this position traditionally starts at $31,668.00 but may be commensurate with education or work experience.

A Day in the Life:

The essential functions of this role are as follows:

  • Ensuring cleanliness, tidiness and safety of work environment.

  • Loading and unloading delivery vehicles.

  • Accepting delivery of inventory.

  • Counting and confirming inventory.

  • Inspecting inventory for damage and faults.

  • Communicating errors to relevant parties.

  • Marking and labeling stock.

  • Storing inventory in an accessible manner.

  • Loading and wrapping stock on pallets.

  • Building loads with forklift and electronic pallet jack.

  • Ensure upkeep of warehouse facility and equipment.

What You'll Need for Success:

You must meet the following requirements to be considered for employment:

  • A high school diploma or GED.

  • Ability to operate a variety of vehicles. including box truck and forklift.
