Amazon Pay Merchant Categories team, Bangalore is looking for a leadership role to lead a high performing Quality Assurance team. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a team that will be responsible for building the India’s first solutions to launch Flights, Movies, Hotel, Insurance booking solutions in Amazon. You will be part of the core leadership team which will help define the roadmap for a truly world class experience for our customers.

Key job responsibilities

Responsible for defining and taking goals on the Quality scorecard

Full CD automation goals

OE in terms of ensuring minimal prod escapees and HOTW pre-flight validations

OP1, OP2 Quality roadmap

Quarterly prioritization, sprint wise execution, accountable for the project dates

Career management and development of direct reports

Basic Qualifications

  • 6+ year of experience working as a Quality Assurance Engineer

  • Experience in manual testing

  • Experience in automation testing

  • Bachelor's Degree

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's in CS or related field and 10+ years of experience in software quality assurance

  • Exposure of overall QA life cycle of the solution and had managed complex projects with significant bottom line impact

  • Should have exposure to API testing using tools such as POSTMAN

  • Experience in automating the RESTful API using frameworks such REST Assured.

  • QA aptitude and ability to drive process improvements

  • Knowledge of QA methodology and tools

  • Ability to write test plans and test strategy documents

  • Ability to understand functional/technical specifications and analyze data
