We are seeking a talented and motivated Manufacturing Engineer to join the OFS Family. The successful candidate will play a key role in optimizing our manufacturing processes, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency are achieved in our daily operations.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and specify required items to prepare production for optimized manufacturing processes
  • Compute justifications for new equipment and project implementation
  • Collaborate closely with production, quality, and management teams to streamline manufacturing operations
  • Analyze existing operations and identify and implement efficiency or yield improvement
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective action implementation for manufacturing-related issues to improve productivity, quality, and on-time delivery
  • Develop and manage project plans to facilitate a smooth transition to implementation
  • Lead continuous improvement projects and activities

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 2-year technical education at minimum
  • Experience in the furniture industry helpful
  • Strong problem-solving skills and track record of implementing continuous improvement initiatives to drive operation excellence
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functional teams
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies helpful
  • Proficiency in Auto Cad, Solid works, and Excel
  • Knowledge of PLC programming, automation and robotics and MRP systems helpful
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities effectively
