Program Summary

KBR leads the government services world contingency market by providing responsive, full-service logistics support to forces deployed around the world under the Logistics Civil Augmentation Program contract (LOGCAP). KBR’s enduring mission support of the LOGCAP program dates back to 1992 when we served as the contract’s original prime contractor. Today, we have a workforce of over 6,000 people representing 40 nationalities who perform work on the contract in 14 countries.

Job Summary

As a Parts Clerk, you will ensures the timely receipt, issue and tracking of repair parts and supplies. Further, you will maintain dedicated parts, requisitions replenishment items, and receive parts using an approved U.S. Army STAMIS system GCSS-ARMY Maintenance module.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Turn in recoverable and excess parts.

  • Open and close work orders and input labor man hours into GCSS-Army system.

  • Use various material handling devices (4k, 6k, 10k forklifts and pallet jacks).

  • Perform various daily, weekly, and quarterly inventories, establish, and maintain shop stock and bench stock.

  • Maintain records and provide traceability of documentation.

  • Ensure that the work area is always maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness.

  • Submit Reports and Action Requests as required.

  • Create detailed daily, weekly, and bi-weekly reports for tracking materials received and accepted.

  • Responsible for all indoor and outdoor part locations, ensuring that all items are stored, and maintenance properly.

  • Participate in the Company Continuous Improvement Process (CIP) and Quality Control programs.

  • Follow all Company rules, policies, and procedures.

  • Comply with all KBR Zero Harm safety guidelines, environmental and quality standards and applicable COPs and DOPs.

  • Provide accountability and proper care of all Government Furnished Equipment and Contractor Furnished Equipment.

  • Interact with internal/external customers and fellow employees.

  • On an as needed basis, assist in performing functions in alternate areas of the project.

  • Utilize all proper lifting procedures and practices associated with lifting and material handling tasks that are assigned.

  • May be required to work uncommon hours of duty, extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications (Required Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)

  • Must be able to pass a U.S. Government background investigation and obtain a NACI. Due to this, you must be a U.S. Citizen or a U.S. Green Card holder who has lived within the United States for at least the last 3 years to be eligible for this position.

  • Must be able to obtain Common Access Card (CAC) to perform to Government requirement.

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 2.5 years of verifiable office/warehouse experience.

  • Must have at least 2.5 years verifiable inventory and/or stock order/replenishment experience.

  • At least 3 years in current United States military supply system management GCSS-ARMY Maintenance Module is required.

  • Must have completed the Common Core and Supply Support Activity business area of GCSS-Army Training and Certification system (GTRAC).

  • Requires at least 2.5 years of verifiable Microsoft Office Suite (EDGE, Excel, Word Doc and PowerPoint) experience.

  • Must be able to accurately input data and be capable of operating in an automated supply environment.

  • Must be able to speak, read and write English fluently.

  • Must be able to stand, stoop, crawl and climb as necessary to perform job functions using proper techniques and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for extended periods of time.

  • Must be free of medical restriction/limitations that prevent the performance of required duties and/or prevent the wearing and utilization of PPE.

  • Must be physically capable of performing the work in conditions of extreme temperatures, low humidity, rain and blowing sand and dust.

  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds unassisted.

  • Must possess a valid State Driver’s License and be able to obtain a military operator’s permit for each type of vehicle or equipment required to operate.

  • Requires a valid passport with at least 12 months of validity and 6 blank pages.

Preferred Qualifications (Preferred Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)

  • 3 or more years Mechanical parts experience.

  • Experience using Technical Manuals.
