We are looking for a detail-oriented Mechanical Assembler to assemble mechanical components according to specifications and blueprints. The ideal candidate will have mechanical aptitude, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the production of high-quality products and play a key role in our manufacturing process.

salary: $16 - $16.5 per hour

Responsibilities

• Reading and interpreting mechanical drawings, diagrams, and blueprints.

• Gathering all necessary parts, tools, and materials required for assembly.

• Assembling mechanical components according to specifications and assembly instructions.

• Using hand and power tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, drills, and torque wrenches.

• Inspecting parts for defects or damage before assembly.

• Testing finished assemblies to ensure they function correctly.

• Performing quality checks throughout the assembly process to maintain high standards.

• Troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise during assembly.

• Maintaining a clean and organized work area.

• Following safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.

• Collaborating with other team members to optimize assembly processes and improve efficiency.

• Documenting assembly procedures, adjustments, and any issues encountered.

• Assisting with inventory management by tracking parts usage and reporting shortages.

• Participating in training programs to develop skills and knowledge relevant to the role.

• Adhering to production schedules and deadlines to ensure timely delivery of assembled products.

The essential functions of this role include:
