Job Description:

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Utilize your SAP integration and solutions architect expertise to work with Product Managers to ensure medical products are systematically and operationally ready to be deployed to the warfighter.

  • Deliver ERP solutions for medical procurement and set management of supplies and integrate MEDCOM systems with ERP solutions used throughout the Army by different organizations.

  • Collaborate with systems integrators and SMEs from AESIP, GCSS-Army, LMP, and DLA to improve processes and determine optimal ERP solutions for the Project Management Organization.

  • Coordinate meetings and workshops to work on SMD solutions in AESIP Sets, Kits, Outfits, and Tools (SKOT) or DPAS Material Management and Warehouse Management.

  • Provide support and data analysis of Bill of Materials for medical sets that are provisioned through multiple systems and reconcile those sets to ensure all medical sets are available for the warfighter in GCSS-Army.

  • Support Army SMEs and SMD leadership with issues related to ERPs and providing explanations and consultation on interface integration points.

  • Apply engineering principles for the effective integration of technology(s) into a system of systems, using an incremental, phased approach.

  • Provide technical and functional support in the integration of the deployable systems to ensure integration into other systems.

  • Develop plans, schedules and estimates as they relate to integrating various products with existing software systems and networks.

  • Help support configuration control and ensure successful integration and interoperability.

  • Utilize knowledge of devices, sensors, algorithms, and other medical systems into actionable information that allows small unit leaders to make data-driven decisions on unit performance and safety.

  • Apply systems engineering knowledge, skills and experience in integrating technology into a system of systems using an incremental approach.

  • Guide the analysis of user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate and improve existing systems and sensors.

  • Participate in special projects as required.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Education : Bachelors of Science degree in Solutions or Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or other information management degree or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experience.

  • Required Experience : 15+ years of related experience and knowledge of medical devices or process automation

  • Preferred Experience : Knowledge of military/Army medical devices/systems; understanding of systems engineering concepts as well as life cycle management principles

  • Required Technical Skills : Strong software/engineering skills and experience in change management. Experience with cybersecurity and/or DoD acquisition is a plus

  • Security Clearance Level : Secret

  • Required Skills and Abilities : Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Being proactive and able to work independently to engage with the product managers.

  • Location : Remote

The likely salary range for this position is $140,899 - $190,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
