The Hertz Corporation Fleet Manager (MSO) in Estero, Florida

A Day in the Life:

The Manager of Fleet (MSO) primary focus is driving the business forward and delivering MSO initiatives. Efficiently manage MSO department team to maximize fleet utilization rate on vehicles and reduce costs to the company. This role has an impact on financial performance, government compliance, ABS compliance, operations, and customer experience.

What You’ll Do:

  • Ensure all processes have updated documentation and process maps to support and train team.

  • Manage and maintain files for registration documents needed for registration of vehicles.

  • Maintain file for print guide rules for printing the back of MSO.

  • Manage and maintain files for registration area, MSO mail area, purchaser information, lien holder and signature /notary.

  • Work with Fleet Procurement team to resolve issues with MSOs not being able to process.

  • Own MSO email box to ensure responses are timely.

  • Support and guide team to get answers to issues to reduce cost and improve utilization.

  • Own and drive direction to team on daily priorities of work to be completed.

  • Ensure daily required reports are being generated and worked. Examples are Duplicate MSOs, MSOs received not mailed, Vehicles delivered/ No MSO received and exceptions.

  • Responsible for preparing and analyzing data for upper management presentations.

  • Ensure MSOS are properly stored at the end of the night.

  • Ensure Toyota MSOs are properly stored in locked cabinets and their log is being completed timely / correctly.

  • Ensure employee POAs are maintained.

  • Review processes regularly to look for opportunities to improve.

  • Conduct Kaizens for new processes and identify defects in current processes and touching processes.

  • Encourages and maintains a ‘Best practice sharing culture’, always striving to find ways to improve.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s level degree or equivalent experience required.

  • Experience in leadership and organizational skills

  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with all levels of company personnel and vendors.

  • Ability to set priorities as well as handle multiple tasks.

  • Detail oriented

  • Must be an independent worker and able to work with minimal supervision.

  • Team builder, positive employee mentor and manager

  • Ability to manage/drive projects to success

We expect the starting salary to be around $85,000 to with annual bonus and profit sharing eligibility. The actual salary will be determined based on years of relevant work experience. This posting will stay open until the role is filled.
