DIRECTV is seeking a seasoned, experienced Principal, Cybersecurity Engineer professional to serve as the lead for specific elements of cyber security, including malware, application exploits and vulnerabilities, penetration testing, and video security. The Engineer performs threat analysis for

new or known vulnerabilities and recommends courses of actions. In this role, you will lead roll-out of new cybersecurity tooling, including software inventory, anti-virus, or security logging, and act as the escalation point for other operational teams. You will be responsible for delivery of security-related features or analysis of on-going security threats.

Here's what you'll do:

• Development and execution of security awareness, including phishing attack exercises.

• Establish and monitor ongoing security awareness results.

• Serve as an internal subject matter expert for encryption methods and procedures.

• Establish and monitor encryption standards.

• Assist internal departments with setting up and operating encryption products.

• Develop reports and presentations for senior management.

• Oversight for Network and Security Incidents.

• Maintain Incident Response Plan.

• Manage Data Loss Protection Incidents.

• Monitor Dark Web reporting for data exposure.

• Work with Suppliers and 3rd Parties during Security Incidents.

• Oversight for Security Operations and Security Incident and Event Management activities operated by supplier.

• Recommend and implement Company Security Policies relative to Security Operations.

• Stay up to date on Cybersecurity threats, tools, and best practices.

Here's what you'll need:

• Bachelor of Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or Information Security preferred.

• 5 years of experience in cybersecurity including 3+ years within a GRC or SIEM\SOC team.

• Recognized industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA.

• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and regulations.

• Exceptional communication skills, capable of conveying complex security issues to diverse audiences.

The Base Salary range displayed below reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for each of DIRECTV's 4 (four) US Labor Market Zones. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Low (N1): $116,375 - $174,515

Mid (N2): $122,500 - $183,700

High (N3): $134,750 - $202,070

Top (N4): $140,875 - $211,255
